Anastasia discusses visa hurdles for highly-skilled foreign tech workers

Managing Partner and Head of the US Practice Anastasia Tonello spoke with Bloomberg Technology on the immigration ramifications of the additional scrutiny of the visa program for technology professionals.

A recently issued USCIS policy memorandum would allow agency officers to make a final decision based on the initial application package, without first seeking additional information. Without this step, applicants don’t have an opportunity to explain themselves if they make a mistake that could be as minor as writing their work address incorrectly on an application.
