Webinar (11 June) - Legal Perspectives on the Impact of Immigration on the Family Unit
On Thursday 11 June 2020, LDA’s Jennifer Stevens (Partner) will participate in the American Bar Association ILS’ 2020 Virtual Annual Meeting webinar on legal perspectives on the impact of immigration on the family unit.
Jennifer Stevens will be on a panel of experts, which shall also include David Grunblatt (Proskauer Rose LLP), Cyrus Mehta (Mehta & Partners) and Carolina Marin (Dawson Cornwell).
This panel of experts will explore the immigration rules and restrictions when relocating the family unit to the US, including whether non-traditional family units are recognized and the impact that may have on the LGBTQ community. The panel will also highlight key issues and provide tips and guidance on how to overcome these, and will discuss changes that need to be made for the future.
