LDI Partner Zeena Luchowa has been quoted in a new article on the International Bar Association’s website on the UK government’s plans to replace judges with public panels of adjudicators in the asylum appeals system.

In the context of concerns regarding the possibility of errors of law and incorrect decision-making by adjudicators, Zeena argues:

In a case where an individual is removed to a country where they fear that they will face persecution, it is imperative that the necessary time and care is taken to ensure the decision was fair and correct as the consequences of getting this wrong could be life-endangering.
