Invest in the UK

Whether a client is seeking to make a significant investment or is looking to open or expand their business venture in the UK, our team provides strategic advice on the best options to meet their long-term immigration goals. Our team has extensive experience and intricate knowledge of the complex rules relating to the investor and entrepreneur-related categories and are ideally placed to advise individuals from outside UK (including the European Economic Area (EEA)/Switzerland) who wish to live in the UK on the basis of business and investment.

Tier 1 (Investor)

The Investor route enables overseas nationals to reside in the UK by investing at least £2 million in UK share capital, loan capital or actively trading UK companies. This route is closed to new applicants, but remains available for extensions and settlement applications.

Innovator Founder

The Innovator Founder route enables experienced entrepreneurs from outside the UK to establish or run an endorsed business in the UK. This route replaced the Innovator and Start-up categories.

Tier 1 (Entrepreneur)

Tier 1 (Entrepreneur) enabled non-EEA/non-Swiss to establish, join or takeover a business in the UK. This route closed to new applicants, but remains available for extensions and settlement applications.

Tier 1 (Graduate Entrepreneur)

Tier 1 (Graduate Entrepreneur) enabled graduates from outside the EEA and Switzerland who had been officially endorsed by an authorised UK higher education institution to set up their business in the UK. This route is closed to new applications but migrants holding Tier 1 (Graduate Entrepreneur) permission may switch to Tier 1 (Entrepreneur).
