Ludovica Bello

Ludovica is a Solicitor who has been specialising in UK immigration and nationality law for over 7 years.
At Laura Devine Immigration, Ludovica advises both corporate and private clients on a wide range of personal, business and human rights immigration matters. Ludovica’s experience includes facilitating immigration solutions for multinational companies, preparing nationality applications, assisting with complex family matters and advising on discretionary applications made on the grounds of Article 8 ECHR rights. She has developed a particular expertise in preparing sponsor licence applications for companies ranging from technology start-ups to large multinationals, as well as preparing Skilled Worker applications for their employees.
Ludovica previously worked in the firm’s PSL team, where she was responsible for developing the team’s prominent technical knowledge by analysing new legislative and policy changes and streamlining client advice systems. She also previously specialised in European free movement law and EU Settlement Scheme applications, delivering numerous presentations and training on Brexit and its legal implications.

A English solicitor and a US attorney, Laura is recognised as a Who’s Who Legal Thought Leader and was its highest-rated Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) immigration lawyer in 2019, standing out for her “superb work”. Laura and her firm of 80 staff are rated by all leading legal directories in the top tier of immigration firms. Prior to launching the company, she established the immigration practices at Coopers & Lybrand (now PwC) and Eversheds (now Eversheds Sutherland).
LDI is commended in The Times Best Law Firms 2024 for immigration.
Laura is an officer on the International Bar Association (IBA) Immigration Committee and Senior Lawyers Committee. She was a Council Member of the Law Society for eight years and sat on the Law Society Immigration Committee for 15 years. Laura is the immigration correspondent for the Law Society Gazette and editor of Thomson Reuters’ ‘Immigration Law: Jurisdictional Comparisons’.
