US News | Track your Green Card Application with myProgress
Thursday 28 December 2023
The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) has announced the expansion of myProgress (formerly known as personalized processing times) to include Form I-485 (application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status) and Form I-821 (application for Temporary Protected status).
The myProgress tool improves the customer experience, allowing applicants to get personalised estimates of their wait time for major milestones and actions on their case, including the final case decision. Accessible through a USCIS online account, myProgress is available for applicants filing Form I-485, Form I-821, Form I-765, Form I-131, Form N-400, Form I-90 and Form I-130.
When accessed by the applicant, the tool displays the estimated wait times until a case reaches a decision, alongside checkmarks for completed milestones: confirmation of received application, progression of application through preprocessing and adjudicative steps, and the final case decision.
The myProgress tool is only accessible to applicants. We advise our clients to create their own USCIS online account to track their pending applications. For any guidance or advice on your Green Card Application, please contact your Laura Devine Immigration attorney or enquiries@lauradevine.com.
