UK immigration and nationality fee increases to take effect from 9 April 2025

From Wednesday 9 April 2025, the Home Office will introduce changes to various immigration and nationality fees.
Most categories will see an increase of 5% to 10%, while fees for individual Worker Certificates of Sponsorship (CoS) will rise by 120% to £525.
The planned increase for electronic travel authorisation (ETA) applications, from £10 to £16 per traveller, will also take effect on this date.
See the table below for fee adjustments of most relevance to businesses. ‘Out of country’ refers to fees for applications submitted from overseas; ‘in country’ refers to applications submitted from within the UK.For a full list of Home Office immigration and nationality fees from Wednesday 9 April 2025, see here.
