Global Talent news: Tech Nation acquired by Founders Forum Group
Following the January 2023 update that Tech Nation would cease operations on 31 March 2023, the Global Talent (digital technology) endorsing body announced that it was acquired by Founders Forum Group (FF Group). This acquisition is important as it shall allow Tech Nation to continue with the endorsement process for new and existing Global Talent applications for the foreseeable future.
FF Group is a global community and group of businesses supporting entrepreneurs at every stage of their journeys and shall carry on the mission of Tech Nation. The organisation’s forums’ unite founders, investors, corporate and government leaders to tackle era-defining questions in iconic locations across the globe.’
Under the FF Group umbrella, Tech Nation shall continue to process endorsements for the digital technology strand of the Global Talent visa. Whilst the Home Office continues to note that it shall identify a new endorsing body to take over from Tech Nation, applicants should continue to apply for endorsement under the current process until further notice.
James Clark (Solicitor) comments:
“Tech Nation endorsement under the Global Talent route has attracted many incredibly talented individuals to contribute to the UK economy by creating and supporting cutting edge digital technology businesses throughout the country. There is often global demand for such individuals. Tech Nation’s closure was therefore alarming and the continuation of Tech Nation endorsement, following its acquisition by Founders Forum Group, is a very positive development.”
