Christi Jackson on BBC World News discusses new rule to curb Central American asylum claims in US

Christi Jackson, Head of the US immigration team at Laura Devine Solicitors in London is interviewed on BBC World News about the new US immigration rules brought in to reduce asylum claims in the US. The new rules come into effect on Tuesday 16 July and will mean asylum seekers who pass through another country before arriving at a US southern border will not be eligible for asylum if they failed to apply first in their country of transit.
