Anastasia Tonello quoted in Newsweek article on "tent cities"

As the number of single, adult migrants in U.S. Customs and Border Protection custody continues to grow at a rate of 1,000 people per week, Department of Homeland security officials have taken the unprecedented step of having “tent cities” constructed to facilitate the transfer of migrants out of overcrowded facilities along the southern border. Anastasia Tonello told Newsweek that the tent cities represent, “a pattern of responding quickly with insufficiently thought out or planned facilities,” adding “my concern is that there’s no real plan to fix or to address the real issue.”
