Yael is an experienced Trainee Solicitor in the UK immigration team. She works with businesses, educational institutions and private individuals, including high net worth clients, on a broad range of UK immigration and nationality matters.

Yael has particular experience advising on highly complex and discretionary cases, including visit visas, sole responsibility and applications with serious and compelling circumstances, discretionary family-based applications, EU Settlement Scheme (EUSS) applications and administrative rveiews. She is also highly experienced in indefinite leave to remain in the UK (including long residence) and naturalisation applications involving excess absences, good character considerations, periods of overstaying and previous immigration refusals. She has also advised on matters involving citizenship, surrogacy, adoption and complex family circumstances.

On the corporate side, Yael advises on Skilled Worker, Global Business Mobility and sponsor licence matters, including sponsor licence applications, sponsor compliance, sponsor management system reporting duties and ongoing strategic immigration support for employers. She has extensive experience supporting businesses through sponsorship and compliance issues and regularly advises on developments in UK immigration policy and practice.

Yael also works with highly skilled individuals and entrepreneurs, advising on Global Talent, Innovator Founder and other specialist immigration routes. She has experience assisting entrepreneurs, families and educational institutions with Student and Child Student applications, including matters involving safeguarding, parental arrangements and school sponsorship requirements.

Alongside her client work, Yael is actively involved in policy and legal research and authors articles and provides commentary on developments in UK immigration law. She has delivered presentations and training sessions to legal and professional services organisations, universities, banks and financial institutions, and frequently provides training to corporate clients on sponsorship duties, compliance obligations and a range of UK immigration routes. Yael is a member of the Immigration Law Practitioners’ Association (ILPA).
