Hannah is a Trainee Solicitor in the UK Immigration team, advising and supporting a diverse range of clients, including multinational corporations, start-ups, entrepreneurs, high-net-worth families and private individuals, on a broad spectrum of UK immigration and nationality matters.

She assists with a wide variety of applications and advisory matters, including sponsor licence applications and compliance issues, sponsored work routes such as Skilled Worker and Global Business Mobility, Global Talent applications, particularly in the creative and academic sectors, Tier 1 (Investor) extension and settlement applications, family and partner applications, private life and long residence applications, Student and Child Student applications, applications under the EU Settlement Scheme, visitor visas, and British nationality matters.

Hannah has developed particular experience in complex personal immigration cases. This includes discretionary settlement applications involving excess absences from the UK, breaches of immigration law, suitability concerns and other matters requiring carefully considered representations to support the exercise of discretion by the Home Office.

Born and raised in Hong Kong, Hannah gained valuable experience in both human rights and immigration law before joining LDI. She is conversational in both Mandarin and Cantonese, enabling her to support clients from a range of cultural and linguistic backgrounds. Hannah graduated from Durham University with a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) in 2023 and is a member of the Immigration Law Practitioners’ Association (ILPA). She has a particular interest in the role of immigration policy in attracting global talent, fostering innovation and supporting long-term economic growth in the UK.
