Amy has over eight years’ experience working exclusively in UK immigration law and qualified as a Solicitor in 2023. She advises both corporate and private clients across a wide range of UK immigration and nationality matters, with particular expertise in sponsorship and compliance, complex immigration applications, settlement and nationality.

Amy acts for a broad range of corporate clients, from large multinational companies to start-ups. She has particular expertise in securing sponsor licences and advising businesses on all aspects of the sponsorship system, from establishing and maintaining compliant sponsor arrangements to supporting employers and individuals throughout the Skilled Worker and Global Business Mobility application process. She takes a practical, hands-on approach, helping clients navigate both the legal requirements and the complexities of the Home Office sponsorship system.

She has significant experience dealing with complex and sensitive cases, including applications involving previous refusals, breaches of immigration conditions and matters requiring urgent resolution. Amy particularly enjoys identifying practical solutions where a client’s immigration history or circumstances make an application less straightforward.

Amy also advises individuals on a wide range of immigration and nationality matters, including partner and family routes, Global Talent, Indefinite Leave to Remain and British citizenship. She has developed particular expertise in complex settlement applications, including applications based on long residence and cases requiring careful consideration of an applicant’s immigration history and periods of absence from the UK.

Alongside her casework, Amy regularly provides tailored training on UK immigration law to corporate clients and other audiences. This has included delivering presentations at UK universities on post-study immigration options for international students.

Amy is recognised in the Legal 500 and is a member of the Immigration Law Practitioners’ Association (ILPA) and the International Association of Young Lawyers (AIJA).
