Spouse, Civil Partner or Unmarried Partner

The spouses, civil partners or unmarried partners of British citizens or persons settled in the UK may apply for to join them in the UK.

Parent

The overseas parent of a British child or a child settled in the UK may apply to live with them in the UK.

Child

An overseas child of a British citizen or a person settled in the UK may apply to stay with that parent.

Adult dependant relative

An overseas adult relative of a British citizen or person settled in the UK may apply for immigration permission if they require long-term care from their relative in the UK and cannot obtain that care in their home country.
