The YHA of England and Wales Charity Book Reading Event

On Wednesday 23 April 2014, Laura Devine Solicitors hosted a book reading event with John Everard, former British ambassador to Belarus, Uruguay and North Korea. John gave a reading of his book ‘Only Beautiful Please: A British Diplomat in North Korea’.

Thanks to the generousity of those who attended, we raised a total of £1,000 for Youth Hostel Association (YHA) of England and Wales.

The YHA is a member of Hostelling International, an international federation of hostel associations. It works in various fields, eg youth activity, the environment, education, in partnership with other organisations within the voluntary sector, national government, and local government.

Find out more about the YHA and their work here.
