The Reading Agency Charity Book Reading Event

On Thursday 23 January 2014, Laura Devine Solicitors hosted a charity book reading event with novelist, playwright, journalist and critic Louise Doughty who read from her book ‘Apple Tree Yard’. The event was introduced by Sue Wilkinson MBE, Chief Executive of The Reading Agency.

Thanks to the generosity of those who attended, we raised a total of £1,000 for The Reading Agency which is a charity whose mission is to inspire people to read , encourage them to share their enjoyment of reading and celebrate the difference that reading makes to all our lives.
