Sir Sherard Cowper-Coles Afghanistan photography presentation

On Tuesday 4 October, Sir Sherard Cowper-Coles presented a photography slideshow from his time as British Ambassador to Afghanistan.

Sir Cowper-Coles enjoyed a 30-year diplomatic career both in the UK and overseas such as Ambassador to Afghanistan, Saudi Arabia, and Israel. He discussed photographs from the height of conflict in Afghanistan and the role of British diplomats and the military.

We are very grateful to all our guests that attended and raised funds for the Pitzhanger Manor & Gallery Trust. The Trust was formed in 2012 by Ealing Council to oversee the conservation project alongside the Council, and run Pitzhanger following its reopening to the public.
