Shannon Trust Charity Book Reading Event

On Monday 12 May 2014, Laura Devine Solicitors hosted a book reading event with Helen Giltrow, who read from her debut novel ‘The Distance’.

Thanks to the generosity of those who attended, we raised a total of £1,000 for the Shannon Trust.

The Shannon Trust aims to transform the lives of prisoners by inspiring prisoners who can read, to teach prisoners who cannot. By providing learners with opportunities to develop life skills, it better equips them to live as contributing members of society.
