Sarah Waters Book Event

On Tuesday 13 September 2022, Laura Devine Immigration hosted a book event with Sarah Waters.

Sarah is the author of six novels including Tipping the Velvet, Affinity, Fingersmith and The Night Watch which have been adapted for stage, television and film in the UK and US. Sarah was awarded an OBE in 2019 for services to literature in the Queen’s Birthday Honours.

We would like to thank all those those who attended and very generously raised £1000 for Sarah’s chosen charity – The National Literacy Trust, which is an independent charity that works with schools and communities to give disadvantage children the literacy skills to succeed in life.
