Literary Lounge with Esther Freud in support of Create

Monday 21 August 2023

On Wednesday 27 September, Esther Freud will be discussing her book – I Couldn’t Love You More.

Spanning three generations of women, this book is an unforgettable novel about love, motherhood, secrets and betrayal – and how only the truth can set us free.

Esther has worked in television and theatre as both actress and writer. She has written nine novels including the semi-autobiographical Hideous Kinky, which was adapted into a film starring Kate Winslet, Mr Mac and Me, The Sea House and Hideous Kinky.

A raffle on the evening will benefit the charity Create where Esther is a patron. Create empowers lives, reduces isolation and enhances wellbeing through the creative arts. Professional artists run projects for children and adults facing challenges in their lives. They are given a chance to express themselves, build skills, meet other people and nurture their wellbeing through animation, dance, drama, music, painting, photography and a host of other artforms.
