Literary Lounge with Anthony Julius in support of UCL's Inclusive Law School Fund
On Tuesday 30 September 2025, Laura Devine Immigration hosted a Literary Lounge with Anthony Julius on his book Abraham: The First Jew.
Anthony Julius is a British solicitor advocate known for being Diana, Princess of Wales’ lawyer and for representing Deborah Lipstadt. He is the deputy chairman of Mishcon de Reya. Anthony holds the chair of Law and Arts at University College London (UCL).
A raffle on the evening benefitted UCL’s Inclusive Law School fund which is deeply committed to providing a comprehensive intellectual environment in which the brightest minds from a wide range of backgrounds can thrive.
Their mission:
It is crucial that the rigorous legal education that we provide at UCL Laws is accessible to a diverse range of talented young people, regardless of their financial resources or circumstances. Social mobility is key to ensuring that members of the legal professions are representative of the society they serve: a diverse legal community enriches us all.
