Join us for an evening with Jim Naughtie and The Right Hon Jack Straw.
Jim will be discussing his new book ‘On the Road: adventures from Nixon to Trump;’ a chronicle of Jim’s love affair with the United States.
Jim presented Radio 4’s flagship Today programme for twenty-one years and is now its special correspondent. The doyen of political radio broadcasting he possesses one of the airwaves finest voices with an unparalleled record of astute political analysis over a five-decade career.
Jack is a British politician who served as an MP for Blackburn from 1979 to 2015. He is one of only three people to have served in the cabinet continuously during the Labour governments from 1997 to 2010.
