Flexible fee structure

Our approach to charging is based on the following key principles:

• we deliver value for money;
• we understand that our clients work within budgets and we assist them with managing their legal costs;
• we are open and transparent in notifying and detailing costs incurred and justifying the level of the fee;
• we ensure that the work is undertaken by the person best suited to the task, taking account of the level  of experience, the complexity of the work and cost efficiency.

In addition, we are pleased to offer fixed fees for certain types of applications. The level of fixed fee will depend on the nature of the applications and the number of applications involved.

Costs

Our efficient and streamlined service ensures that no unnecessary costs are incurred.

Our fees are normally calculated by reference to the time spent by each member of the firm. However, we are pleased to agree fixed fees where appropriate. We will discuss fee structures at the time of instruction.

Disbursements

Disbursements such as application, filing and counsel fees, courier charges and other expenses are charged as additional items. However, in contrast to many law firms, it is not our normal practice to charge for incidental photocopying or faxing.

VAT

VAT is charged in addition to our fees, where applicable.
